Repayd and Nezasa have formed a strategic partnership to provide travel payment flexibility to tour operators through the Nezasa TripBuilder platform. The integration will give travel companies access to gateway-only services or Repayd's full global travel merchant account solution.

Repayd will join TripBuilder as a payment gateway partner. As a result, travel businesses will have additional options for managing and optimising payments within the platform.

Companies using Nezasa can retain their existing payment connections while adding Repayd as another acquiring option. This arrangement provides access to guaranteed-rate currency conversion at checkout, integrated payment protection and other travel-specific services.

Alternatively, operators can adopt Repayd's complete travel merchant account solution. This option includes a broader range of payment services and financial protection features designed for travel businesses.

Nezasa's TripBuilder platform is used by tour operators, airlines and travel brands to create, package, manage and sell tailor-made and dynamic itineraries. It supports distribution across multiple channels and connections with suppliers in different markets.

The platform also enables businesses to manage complex and personalised journeys. Through the Repayd integration, users will gain access to payment infrastructure developed for cross-border travel transactions.

The available capabilities include multi-currency pricing, localised payment processing, cross-border transactions and payment optimisation. Embedded financial protection will also form part of the service offering.

Repayd's global infrastructure is designed to support cash-flow protection and improve payment authorisation rates. It also aims to reduce payment friction and provide localised checkout experiences for travellers booking from different countries.

The partnership is intended particularly for international tour operators serving several source markets. Local acquiring, flexible currency options and payment optimisation can reduce transaction costs and support booking conversion across those markets.

Meanwhile, Repayd's financial protection features provide additional safeguards for travel businesses and consumers. The partnership therefore combines payment processing with measures addressing the financial risks associated with travel transactions.

Will Plummer, CEO of Repayd, said: "Travel businesses operating internationally face increasingly complex payment challenges. By partnering with Nezasa, we are making it easier for tour operators around the world to access payment infrastructure that has been built specifically for travel. Whether businesses simply require gateway functionality or are looking for a fully managed global merchant account with embedded financial protection, this partnership provides the flexibility and scalability modern travel companies need to grow internationally."

Manuel Hilty, CEO of Nezasa, said: "Payments have long been one of the sources of complexity in global travel, with different currencies, markets and providers that operators have to navigate every day. Partnering with Repayd gives our customers greater choice and access to specialist travel payment capabilities that support international growth, improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall booking experience for travellers worldwide."

The agreement reflects the increasing integration of travel technology platforms with specialist payment services. Travel businesses are seeking systems that can support payments, distribution and complex international operations through connected infrastructure.

For tour operators using Nezasa TripBuilder, the integration combines itinerary-building technology with travel-specific payment infrastructure. It also provides a choice between maintaining existing payment arrangements with an additional acquiring connection or adopting a fully managed merchant account.
