The company is also the parent firm behind Oasis Overland, acquired in 2021, which together with Encounters Travel expands their adventure-tour offerings and bolsters their presence in the UK market. Uncover the World Travel is a compact but experienced UK-based tour operator specializing in culturally immersive, small-group adventures, backed by robust financial security and seasoned travel leadership.
Uncover the World and their Encounters Travel, Oasis Overland and Egypt Uncovered brands were already well established by the time they first engaged with Repayd. The challenge they face was two fold – firstly to find a simple, low cost solution to financially protect their UK and European based clients as part of the regional regulations; and secondly to find a payment platform which would support them as they expanded their offering into North America and other areas of the world.

Working with Repayd has now opened up processing channels for Uncover the World in GBP, USD, INR, EUR, NZD, CAD and ZAR, as they have expanded into these markets without the need for them to open their own bank accounts in these currencies.
